Jürg is a Swiss Brevet Federal ski instructor with decades of experience and a deep passion for outdoor sports, teaching, and the arts. Fluent in six languages—German, French, Italian, Spanish, English, and Dutch—Jürg’s ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds is matched only by his skill in skiing and his love for sharing the mountains.

Jürg’s journey began in the late 1980s when he graduated from the Geneva Art School (HEAD) in the “Media Mixtes” section. Recognizing the challenges of making a living as an artist, he simultaneously pursued his certification as a Swiss Ski Instructor, merging his creative spirit with a career in the outdoors. 

In the 1990s, Jürg relocated to Italy, where he became a partner in a paragliding school and served as the Italian importer for paragliders. Returning to Switzerland, he resumed his ski teaching career, becoming a partner in the ski school at Les Crosets, part of the iconic Portes du Soleil region. In the early days of Andermatt’s transformation into a premier ski destination, Jürg recognized the opportunity to carve his own path as an independent ski instructor, embracing the region’s evolution while staying rooted in his teaching philosophy.

Jürg’s artistic roots remain an integral part of his life. As a professional photographer and filmmaker, he captures unique moments for his clients, offering them bespoke photos and video clips of their skiing journeys. His creative eye and attention to detail add a personal touch to every experience.

Jürg finds immense joy in sharing his knowledge and fostering a deep connection with nature. “To do an outdoor sport, connected with the fresh air, the wind, and even tough conditions, gives me energy,” he says. At Flow Performance Club, Jürg’s mission is to help clients rediscover the joy of movement, learning, and progression.

His teaching extends beyond technique, aiming to reconnect adults with a sense of purpose and their roots of being.
